You take left over toilet paper rolls (no kidding) and crease them down the middle.. Take your scrapbook paper to cover each tube, then add your embellishments AND next have it binded OR even cheaper you can punch a hole in each tube on end and add the key ring holder circle clip and add your ribbons.. I had a lady demo this at our crop and it was really, really, cute and clever.. The cuteness comes in when you Decide how you decorate it of course.. Check out this site for the example: www.paperjewels.blogspot.com/2009/01/toilet-tissue-tebe-book-and-tutorial.html Enjoy!

That's a great idea, but instead of using toilet paper tube, I would use tubes from paper towels...to much of a risk of contacting hand/foot/mouth disease from those toilet paper tubes.

hey what a great idea. anything that saves money is a great thing! the thickness of the cardboard will support the paper. i wonder if anyone else can come up with some other cheap scrapbooking ideas - the supplies can get pretty expensive.

This sounds like a neat project. Unfortunately the link didn't work - got a page doesn't exist message. But I did go to their main page and saw a magic chalking technique that was easy and fun. Do you have a photo of the one you made that you can upload and share. I would love to see it.
