Do you pray before starting an important work?

I hope that all of us believe in GOD irrespective of our religion.when ever you start an important thing in your life ,do you pray to GOD and ask him for his blessings so that the work you have started goes on successfully.Or do you believe in yourself and go on with your work and self confidence and don't pray to God for any help.

I always believe that if we ask God for help with all our heart, God will answer our prayer. That's why I pray before I do almost anything even before eat, sleep or go to bed. There's no higher power than God and we should depend on God the most.

wht is god ?? the one whom u believe in , and the one who u think believes in u . well for me, i dont believe in god , so i dont pray before i start a work , but i believe in a person who is just god for me . she pushes me for every work i do .
