Gibbs had been getting starts in almost all the matches but he finally really capitalized on his start in the 4th odi to help s.africa a very good score of 317 with crucial knocks from de villiers, boucher and duminy. Gibbs had been threatening to get a big score so far in the series and it came at the right time and i think his century proved to be the difference in the two teams in the end. Great stuff by gibbs and looking forward to watching him in the ipl now.

Its not a t20 baseball tournament its a cricket tournament that showcases the skills of the players worldwide.

This is the one of the best innings from Gibbs. The one that is very vividly remembered is the one that was played against the same opponants. That was the epic 175 played to chase down and the mammoth target of 438. Even this innings too was a great one. He anchored the south African innings. Initially he was finding hard to get his timing. Even his big strokes being mistimed and getting him only singles. But when he was set completely, we got to see, what a man he is. That helped SA win the match and even the series. Felt good to see that the Aussies were once again defeated.

it was really good to see in back in form. he got starts in previous matches but could not carry on. he had a bad year off the field last year, so its great to see him back playing some good cricket. Hopefully he carries on this form and plays some good knocks in the IPL and international cricket.

Gibbs 21st century has come at the corect time. When he was on the verge of getting dropped from the national side, he has pounced back with a splendid form.
