what is your best summer gate away?

I love it when the weather is warm or hot and sunny. Summer is my favorite season and in my home country it is from June to August. Earlier this year I took my toddler to Cape Town and the Garden Route in South Africa. From December to February is summer there. We had a wonderful time seeing Table Mountain, Boulder's Beach with the penguins, the botanical gardens and Scratch Patch where we saw gem stones. We went on an excellent two and a half hour safari to see lions, giraffes, hippos, rhinos and zebras.

ahhh....well, so far was my October summer getaway at Shangrila Mactan Beach Resort at Mactan,Cebu last 2004 by my previous company. I said so, because such an opportunity is very rare, we are treated like the elite and foreigners, we dined at their more than 5 restaurants serving different countries best dishes, all eat you can! We checked-in in a fabulous rooms and more....its was like just a dream. It was also only then we experience superb relaxation and jet-ski thrill. We stayed there for 3 nights and two days with communication allowance to contact our family plus a shopping allowance. I heard our boss paid more than 10k pesos for each of us there. A one time one day dream!!! Hope i can have another...
