many times i've been alone and many times p've tried were very sad lyrics well about the band breaking up i'd choose free as a bird think about the lyrics stating"whatever happened to the life that we once knew can we really live without each other" i still choose golden slumbers as how mellow the sound is and when i hear the words "once there was a way to get back home" makes me think about the good times i can never go back to.

while my guitar gently weeps is an excellent composition it's just that golden slumbers is really a very sad song for me because its a song about someone a love one about to die and then your singing it to the person as if it is just a lullaby.

Beatles are the greatest band ever.Well Coming to the saddest song by the Beatles..Well I think its 'Girl'.OK the reason is I never find any of their song sad instead I think they are psychedelic but when I broke with my girlfriend ,I listen to this song and this really remind of her.
