Are you the captain of your own ship or just a passenger?

Others believe in destiny, some don't. In your case, would you let your destiny rule your life or take charge your own life. In my case, I make my own destiny. No matter what will happen with my life, at least I made it on my own. Win or lose, It's got to be my own game not the other way around.

Hi lyzabelle! I try to be the captain of my own ship! I don't like to be a passenger! I try to take things into my own hands whenever possible. I will do whatever I can to steer things in the right direction whenver possible. I try to make the right choices to make my life the best it can be. They may not be the best choices, but they are the best choices for me! People may not agree, but it is my life just the same! I don't like taking orders from anyone! I have always tried to be the master of my own destiny and I will continue do what I feel is the best thing for me, no matter what anyone else thinks!

I believe in a certain degree of destiny. I believe there are circumstances that come my way- things that are going to happen regardless of what i do, however, i also believe that these are circumstances that i can react to in whichever way i choose to react. I believe that my life is a story, and right now, there is only 18 years written in pen, and the rest is nothing but an outline, ready for me to finish writing it, using what i already have :] In doing that, of course, that means that there is stuff that is supposed to happen to me, but if i take a different course right now, there will be different things that are gong to happen to me. My destiny can change at any time, depending on the choices I make today. :]

Hello lyzabelle! I am sure everyone would like to be like you, i.e. be the captain of his/her own ship but then I am not sure this decision is in our hands all the time. Sometimes we have to face circumstances which force us to take decisions which we would not have taken otherwise.

I believe to a certain degree in destiny, altho I also believe that you can decide your own destiny with the actions that you take. But some people will never achieve what they want to, no matter how much they want too, due to not having the will or the motivation to work hard and to achieve that dream.

I do believe in destiny but its a different style we each make our own lives sorting out our odds and ends that matter to us but truthfully I think we do stuff simply because we want to and what drives that is just based on dna family and others lives who intertwined with yours. of course its not all that.. but to put it simply i believe in quantum physics and i don't think were ever going to find the smallest small because once we do we'll invent something to see something smaller or if there isnt a way we'll build something smaller.
