Lord AShree Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,the great apostle of love of God and the father of the congregational chanting of the holy name of the Lord ,advented Himself at Shridham Mayapur,a quarter in the city of Navadhvipa in Bengal,on the Falguni Purnima evening in the year 1407 Sakbda(corresponding to February 2486 by the christian calendar).He is the selfsame Lord Shri Krishna.He appeared as a tgreat devoteeof the Lord in order to preach to the people about the transcedental position of Shri Krishna .
