i cant use the calls in yahoo messenger..

before i been able to used the computer to computer calls in yahoo messenger. but then one night when i click the call button, my messenger hanged. i thought it was just a coincidence. then i try to log in yahoo messenger again, but every time i call it really make my messenger hang. but that time i can still managed to receive call. until now, my messenger hangs every time i tried to call and when i they try to call me. it just hanged.
i tried to re download yahoo messenger but nothing happen.
i just can make/receive calls in yahoo messenger.. what can i do? help!!

Did you search for any viruses in your system because if the system is infected then it yahoo messenger can't work at its best. I am not too into making calls from YM but I used it for some chat with my friends and I felt difficult chating with them when I was using my infected o/s.
sorry but no clue at all. I can't use that feature as I don't have a mic with me so, I can't check it by myself and one of my friend who had that also is not with me.

i checked that before. i even change my os but still the problem is still there.. what do you think can cause this?

which version of yahoo messenger do you use? download messenger 9 because that's what i use and its okay. thanks

i have tried 7, 8 and now 9. but still i can use the call features in yahoo messenger..

Do you check your computer from viruses? If you re-install and still hang, possible the file is not corrupt. Possibility, plug in installed does not match by the version of Yahoo Messenger. Or, you can contact the person who understands your particular problem. I want to help, but I don't find time to seek the settlement of problems on your Yahoo Messenger.

i dont think it has viruses.. my sister account can use the calls in messenger. its just my id that is not working well. i havent try to contact yahoo. i think ill try to other pc if the problem still occurs il try to talk to yahoo personnel about this matter..
