Do you aware your credit score?

Do you always aware your credit score? I think that 800 points is the highest score, and 300 is the lowest. I don't know about my credit score, because I don't make any big purchase through finance yet. I tend to keep my credit score high. Someone told me if I try to get rid of a credit card, do not close the account. Because it will hurt the credit score. Instead, leave it open, and do not use it that much. Pay off the balance every time you use it. You then will keep the score high.

Actually credit scores range from 501 to 990, at least according to TransUnion. I think it is important to be aware of your credit. THat is probably the best way to protect your identity. That way you know the first thing something is wrong, so you can fix it, and not let someone steel your identity.

I do not care what my credit score is, we have always bought what we have with cash. Do not have or do not want any credit cards. Do not take out loans for anything. Credit gets to many people into trouble.
