I too prefer friends of mostly the same age , it is the best company and u can talk about many topics . but i have some friends who r smaller than me , i like to help them when they r in need . but i have very less friends who r bigger than me , well there r some good people also in that list , they r 10 years bigger than me but they just treat me as their friend and i like such kinda people .

one more thing that i would like to add is that in friendship wht matters is not age , but wht matters is the attitude.if u agree with me then pm me.

I generally choose friends that are almost the same age group as me. But still I have a few friends who are almost half my age.

Hi there! I don't choose friends according to age. A person becomes my friend if we get along well together. To me age wouldn't matter much to find things of common interest where friendship usually starts. I have lots of friends older than me and I find them nice to hang out with. They are more mature than me and though we don't have much common interests, I find it more interesting cause I learn a lot from them. Just like learning a different stage of life. I also have friends of the same age as mine. We are much like each other cause we're of the same age. We always have fun together and usually we always agree on the same things. I do have friends younger than me. But our friendship isn't that deep cause their way of thinking isn't that mature. We just get along well together just for fun. I think circle of friends would come from the places a person hangs out or spend their time. It could be from work or from school. Like where I got my friends. Ciao!

hi fwangaa, Personally, I not consider age if I want to make friends with a certain person. Age doesn't matter to me at all. I have friends which has same age with me. I also have friends younger than me. And I have also friends who are older than me. For me, as long as I see that he or she is a good friend, I not care anymore of what is his or her age.I love my friends who have same age with me because I know that once I want to share something with them, they can understand me because they already experience same.I also love my friends who are younger with me because with them, I do not feel that I am old. It is so much fun to make friends with younger people because you will always feel that you are updated with current trends and fashions.I also love my friends who are older than me. Well, I can say that I am the type of person who really wants to gain wisdom in my life. And we cannot deny the fact that older people had so much experience compare to the younger ones. And from their experiences, we gain knowledge and wisdom. We can also seek advices on them if we are having difficulty with our problems. They might even give better suggestions because of their age and because they already learned a lot in life.So with all those reasons, I see that there is nothing wrong if you not consider age in making friends.
