ok here is the thing there are reputable breeders that are online and that you can purchase from them.. They have a website and they show you the dog or puppies that they have available. The most important thing is to make sure that they are a reputable breeder when you get the dog offline. I know that the breeder I deal with has a website and she offers to ship the puppy and she offers for you to travel and pick up your puppy and she has her phone number listed as well as an email for contact. I think the thing with online buying is to make sure to check your sources make sure that they have referrals and that they have the ability of you being able to locate them like and address and phone number and make sure that they are willing to have you come get the dog and that they only take a fee to hold the dog and then you pay when you pick up the dog or they ship the dog. It's all about researching the person and the kennel that you are buying from. here is a link to my breeder she is reputable and is not a scam I have gotten one pup from her akc registered Siberian Husky and I will be picking up another dog that they are retiring this sunday. http://www.lauradalessiberians.com/ NOT A REFERRAL LINK!!!!! also I would like to point out some places like puppy find.com or K9stud.com have ways of telling you of the known scams if you do the free registry there. I know that my breeder list on puppyfind and K9stud.com. Most reputable breeders and sellers have a website that they allow you to go to from those sites.

Nope. I think it's important to check out the personality of the puppy and see if it has any health problems. I don't even like buying inanimate objects online, much less a living, breathing creature.

I bought my dog online and it turned out great. I think as long as he can go and look at the dog and check out were he is coming from then its totally fine. The person I go my dog from is a breeder and sells there puppies online. You can make and appointment to see the puppy and play with him/her for and hour. If he can find a site like this then I think its ok.
