Have you ever travelled on the roof of a bus?

Well it was yesterday, that for the first time in my life, I traveled on the roof of the bus. Yesterday was a new year according to our calendar(like A.D we also have B.S in our nation) so on the occasion we had a trip. But unluckily many people were travelling on the occasion. With very packed sits inside we choosed to stay on the roof. I didn't think it would be good idea and the beginning..but after I get on, oh it was the amazing experience, tooooooooooo much interesting...while on the way there it was sunny and headache but while returning it was too much comfortable and interesting with our friends all enjoying and shouting.... What about you?

Yes, ihave experienced riding on the roof of a bus or a jeepney before when i was younger. We used to go on vacations and one time during a vacation to the province, there was only one bus available and there are plenty of passengers waiting so instead of spending the night in strange town, we hopped on the roof of the bus. and Ihave experienced a lot of these riding on roofs of public transport when I was working in the hinterlands where passenger vehicles are scarce.

Yes, that was the case, lot of passengers and few bus...Interested or not, there was no other way than that...But luckily I found it interesting...

I never try that. Besides, no one here ever try that. The bus driver might kill us if we dare anyway. How do you managed to sit on top of it? Is there a special sit or something? What if the bus suddenly speed up?

May be its amazing in your nation, but not for us. In many occasions, I have seen other people climbing on the roof on the bus on our country. Driver is the far thing, even when the traffic police don't stop us...Well it was just tooo too pack and suffocation inside..So there were 9 of our friends and we all managed on the roof. Why would the driver kill us, when they are happy to get paid as equal as for staying inside the bus...Thanks for the response...

Hi, nzalheart! Okay do you mean that you was actually riding on top of a roof of a bus? I have never done this before, and I don't think that I will ever do so. I am afraid of heights and afrais of getting killed or hurt too!

It is very fun to travel on the roof of a bus. Very interesting stuff you can see. I have done a few times but only riding around a city. Never traveled long distance like that.

It was not very long trip...It was about half hours journey on bus...
