You're standing on my neck

When I saw that title I immediately thought of Daria. The opening song must have stuck with me after all these years. I do remember that I liked this show, though I don't remember too much of it either. As for my favourite character, I'd probably have to say Daria's dad (I don't even remember the name anymore). The most annoying thing about that show would probably the voices, some of them were rather annoying like one of the teachers that talked really really slow but I think that adds more value to the show in terms of standing out compared to the other cartoons. It's a bit like professor's voice in Futurama. When you hear it, you recognise it right away. As much as I could remember I think the plot was quite decent and animation was good too. I can't stand some of the lame 3D animations these days, they look retarded. Another thing that stood out was the endings, each time there would be a different ending when they would show the characters dressed up in weird costumes. It kept me watching all the way to the end and keeps the show fresh.

It's a toss up between Jane and Trent. My favorite episode was Pierce Me....the one where Trent employs Daria's help to buy Jane a "not lame" birthday gift and instead he pays for Daria to get her naval pierced, which of course she does because she is twitterpated over Trent. Not that I blame her... If he was just real. LOL

My favorite is Daria herself. I guess I like most the episode where Daria and her friends are on their way to a music festival and she "has to go" in the woods.

That show MARK MY TEENAGE YEARS. I love it! Trent was my favorite XD
