Was it worth all the hype???

SPOILER ALERT to those who did not watch American Idol last night, read no further... Are you happy that the judges on American Idol "saved" Matt last night? I am acctually quite happy with the save, because I like Matt and enjoyed his preformance last night, but I unfortunately think like Simon that he is not going to win the competition. There is just too much other talent out there. I think this saving thing was a great big Producers gimmick to build drama on the show. The judges were not allowed to make the save after next week anyway, so they just let Matt go on for one more week, and now two go home next week. Who do you think will go next week? No, I don't think it was. Personally I think they should have used the save earlier on in the show for Alexis Grace. So I'm disappointed that they used it for Matt. I have nothing against him, but I just don't think he is worthy of the title of American Idol. Hopefully the judges will put the save to better use in future seasons. Either that or get rid of it completely. Because if they aren't going to save someone worth saving then what is the point in having it? I don't know who will go next week, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is Matt.

they make clowns and puppets out of matt and anoop, i could strangle ryan for what he's doing to anoop in many instances, i mean these are my only two favorites and they had the misfortune to be used to create the buzz... come on, 'history was made...' did anoop and matt signed up for this, too... can't AI give enough respect and consideration... look at how people look at these people, lesser singers than they actually are, just so to make others look better, i know this is a risk contestants need to face, but there is a limit... it feels so scripted

I like Matt but I don't think he's going to win and I don't see the logic of saving somebody who doesn't have a chance to win. Next week's bottom 3: Anoop Matt Lil Just based on a guess based more on popularity than ability...
