I'm sure everyone may have a routine that they go through when they are on the internet. You might check you email first then go to you online money making sites to check you balance or to see how many referral you may have and etc. When i'm on the internet sometimes I may have lot of sites open. I may be checking my email, responding to discussion on mylot or I maybe on one of the ptc sites.Do you this also do you feel that if you multi task while on the internet you can get alot done quicker or do you take it one site at a time ?

I tend to multitask, even when I don't want to. I may start on one window, then a link takes me somewhere else, which reminds me of/links me to something else, etc. I think at the beginning it helps you do things faster, but in the end it really just slows you down.

I do multi task a lot especialyy on the computer but at times it seems to work aginst me. I start getting into so many things and before I know it I have to log off and nothing concrete was accomplished. I am trying to make myself stay focused more and complete at few tasks before I move on to other things. I have also had to stop siging up for so many newsletters and even cancel some so that my inbox can breathe!

I definitely multi task and b/c I am dial up it sucks sometimes, so I kinda have to have multiple tabs open in order to get things done. I work full time outside the house so I have minimal time to be online.

I usually have a few pages open at any given time while I am online, usually Mylot, Myspace and Amazon are among the regular ones. Sometimes I will have all open and sometimes I will go to them individually, just depends on how much I am trying to get done and the time frame I have. I dont like waiting for pages to load sometimes so Ill skip to some other site I am on to pass time and I get bored easily so having more than 1 site up keeps my interest and makes it quick. I can jump from site to site fairly quickly for the most part and once I get bored with one i can take a break for a bit and then go back if necessary.

Oh I definitely multi-task while I am on the internet, especially when i do my moneymaking sites because to do one at a time would be much too time consuming so its quicker just to do 3 at once :) and i like to also have my email and/or myspace open at the same time as well because then I get to have a little bit of fun when mylot is slow or im mylotted out lol

Good question. I have my own routine and I think we're somewhat the same. I check my mails first, attend to what's urgent, but before that I have to make a list on what I'm about to do in the internet. Because most likely when my hands are on it I tend to forget what I'm suppose to do for the day. Anyway I usually do multitasking, after checking my mails, I have Mylot and other sites to go through. But I realized that at the end of the day, with multitasking, I never really did a serious job on one thing, I just kept jumping from one task to the other. So I figured out, that I do should be doing what's essential first, then one site at a time. Ciao!
