How do people get so many Referals?

So I just started up with some PTC sites. NoMinCashout and NeoBux but I need to get referals because thats the key to success i know. Does anyone have any good strategies to get those? I need all the help I can get. Thank You!

It is possible that those people with so many referrals, have a mailing list they promote to. The people who become a subscriber to someone's mailing list are the ones that want information from them, and probably trusts them.

I also did not got any referrals till this time. I wonder whats the key to get referrals like some people have.
