Delhi girl in coma after school punishment dies

She was just 11 years and what was her mistake ,Not doing her homework .On Wednesday after being allegedly beaten and made to stand in the sun for nearly two hours by her teacher for not being able to recite letters of the English alphabet,died on Friday afternoon.what should we do with such a barbaric teacher who should have been a butcher instead of a teacher

Hi Deepeka, you know teacher teach us all moral,social and practical thinks. But this incident show a black shadoo on teacher's propession. Since physically tourcher is legaly prohibited but teacher should be ideal humen being in socity.

My simple response is IF my child is ever hurt, this includes spanking, standing in the sun, rapping knuckles ANYTHING. I don't think an insanity defense could cover the amount of retaliation I'd impose on a school or district. No one should have the right to lay hands on my child.

That is so sad! Not to say terrible. This really shouldn't have happened. This form of punishment is really barbaric. I hope that this teacher should get punished himself for what he did to this little girl. It is really unacceptable for him to do this to this little girl.

Job lost, same treatment only on an adult level, and a few minutes locked in the same room with her family sounds about right. It's truely a shame that this can still happen in todays "wise" world.

He should be jailed for life. Thats not the way you punish kds or any other human for not doing homework. Hope he get a lot of time in jail and he sshould not be allowed to teach anymore.I dont think he deserves to be a butcher, instead he should be butchered.

Not even a butcher, animals that are slaughtered even deserve more respect than this! I can only hope that this was not an intentional deed, because that would make matters even worse than they allready are. I can't even start to think about how the parents must feel about this. It's horrendous.

You are so right....This person should never be allowed to be a teacher any more, and should never be allowed around children again.... The person that did this should be put in jail for a good long time. If not for the rest of their life.
