I don't know if anyone else feels sad after they finish watching a good anime series but I feel that way especially when I want to watch more of it but there is no more. Do you feel this way?

For some reason, I just find it hard to read or watch something again. It's like I don't really wanna do something again.

Yeah, I felt that way when I finished watching Code Geass season 1... that was before season2 came out and I was just so sad cuz they left the series at a cliffhanger and there was just no more... but then when season 2 came out, i was so happy that I swear I jumped up and down for 5 minutes

lol. it's kind of weird for some anime though. like for Darker Than Black, the next season feels like there's a big gap in what happens, suddenly they're in Russia. You kind of get the drift but you can tell a lot has been cut from the manga even without reading it.

It depend on the anime. For example I really liked Evangelion but when I finished it I didn't felt sad but pretty fulfilled. On the other hand I was kinda sad after finishing Berserk. The story just begun and anime ended. It could've been been pretty epic anime if they would continue all the way to follow manga.

Yeah, I know what you mean. It was like that when Claymore finished. There could still have been more episodes to go before it ended or even another season.

Believe me it happens all the time. sometimes i wish i had the money to just buy out the company and produce a second season of something.

I don't know why they don't produce more sometimes especially if the anime is successful.

I also feel sad everytime I'm done watching a series. Actually, when I start watching/marathoning a new anime, I always want to finish it as quickly as possible, but when there's only few episodes left, I kinda become sad and hopes that there'll be a second season... except for animes that really sucks. :P

I go through animes quite slowly actually. I don't really feel like watching everything in one go unless it's really good.

Yeah, me neither, the longest anime series that I've watched the most is D. Gray Man. But I never even watched up to the latest episode yet.

I am depressed as well after finishing a series is they are good. Like the Full Metal Alchemist, Keleidostar etc. I feel like it's pity that they cannot continue?

Yeah. I get that too especially when the plot isn't fully complete for example things that were raised in the series but were forgotten by the end and never continued.

yes, i too, feel sad when i finish an anime series. i mean, whatever series i'm currently watching becomes my best friend especially on those nights that i fail to sleep because of my insomnia. and usually, these anime divert my mind from the pressures of everyday life. :)

That's good to hear that you can ease the pressures of life by watching anime. I do that too and also with books as well. It feels like you're sucked into another world sometimes.
