Do you sell the unused items in your house ONLY WHEN you're broke?

Hi, wondericequeen! No, I have not done this. But my husband has sold many work tools to the pawn shop just to get a loan for those items. We needed that to eat with and put gas in the car. It is helpful at the time, but the money runs out just as fast as we got it. Thank God for pawn shops! They are there when you need them!

Hi there. Well, I usually sell off unused item in my house to clear space, regardless of whether I'm broke or not. I tend to be more "generous" with bids though when I'm broke since I tend to be desperate to sell off stuff as quickly as possible.

I haven't sold much on line from the house, but it might not be a bad idea to get rid of some stuff, do some good for the environment by not throwing it into the trash, and make a few bucks while I am at it. We're not broke, but we're not wealthy either.

Hello wondericequeen, I only sell my used/unused stuff online and whenever there is a need for that. I don't really take it as a serious matter before and when I am in the mood, I will do it. It has been quite a long time since the last time I sold a stuff online. I do not know how the market right now, since we are having difficulties due to the economic down turn. hello wondericequeen usually when i sell the items in my home that i no longer want to own, i will sometimes have a yard sale. and my hubby likes to sell things on e-bay's website. he likes going to "real" auctions and buying things and then he'll list the items that he bought on e-bay's website. he has a bunch of albums right now that he is trying to sell on e-bay. he has another rare album to sell but he hasn't listed it yet, it is jazz music. take care and have a beautiful afternoon.

when im really out of bucks, i really do find ways to make some extra bucks... and yes by selling my still in good conditon things to my friends or in the office...
