Do you ever dream of an old lover?

Hello mylotters!
Just wondering if anyone out there ever dream of any of their old lovers or if it's just me. Seems that here lately I've been having dreams about a guy that was quite a few years older than me. At one point our relationship was so serious that we had talked of marriage. Finally we broke off b/c a certain family member didn't think that he was right for me. Well my life moved on and I wound up married to someone else. Now it seems that the one I'm married to isn't right for me. Would you consider calling up the old lover to find out what's been happening in his or her life or just let sleeping dogs lie? Mind you, this person was one of the best lovers I have ever had.

I am a chinese girl,hope you understand what i am saying. I think if you still love him very much and you think he is right for you.You can get touch with him.
If i were you,i wouldn't live with regret. I would find the answer,whatever right or wrong. After so long,maybe he and you have both changed, maybe you will find that he isn't be that person you have known.

Old lover, to contact or not?

Yes, I dream about my "first love" sometimes, even though our quite short relationship was 40 years ago. I think I never really tied up the loose ends, and though I'm long, long over him, he's still got a little bit of himself left in the corners of my mind.

there is no wrong for u to get dreams of old lover . if the life is not good now, u can get old lovers dreams ,because u loved him more than this present guy.
i will also get dreams of old lover ,but in dreams only i will get. i didn;t meet him personally afterwards .and also we are not friends also.

I have definitely had these dreams... and we're still the best of friends. It feels like a giant tease sometimes.. but I am thankful just to still have him in my life at all.

You are very lucky!Thanks for ur comment. Sometimes I want to look up mine just to see what he's doing and also to see if he still thinks about me. I'm wondering if it's one of those dejavu things b/c sometimes when I call my sis she says that she was just thinking about me also. I would really be surprised if old boy was still jonesing over me. But then it wouldn't be a surprise. Just knowing me.........

hi. i do hv dreams from my past. my soulmate as i refer to him. sometimes life is not fair. we tried keeping in touch but as expected misunderstood by his wife so i decided to let go even the friendship. if it wont affect both your families why not stay friends for old times sakes. but if complications and problems would arise because of that i suggest you have to let bygones be bygones.
