Have you ever met your opposite?

Have you ever met someone that was the complete opposite of you in any capacity? Like occupation wise, political view wise, moral view wise? And if so how do you interact with them? I have met a few people that were my opposite either career wise or political wise, sometimes its awkward but i really do try for it not to be though

In my last job working with long term unemployed I came across people who were completely opposite in their character to me, e.g. they believed it was acceptable to be unemployed for decades and sponge off the government, they believed it was ok to keep having kids that they couldn't support themselves and most of them made it pretty clear that they did not believe in a honest day's work. I only had interaction with them because of my work, I would not associate with people like that out of choice. I've met people in the past who made it clear that they did not believe in fidelity in their marriage which put me off them. If they couldn't be loyal to their life partner, I didn't think they could be loyal to me as a friend. If someone has different political views to me, I can accept that but I don't accept them trying to influence my political choices and the same with religion - I don't care what religion you are as long as you don't try to convince me yours is better than mine - I don't go around telling anyone that my political or religious choices are better than anyone else and will not accept it from others. The same with music tastes. I accept that people have different tastes but I don't like it when people criticise my music tastes because they like something completely different - we are individuals and we have different tastes in lots of areas - we can live with each other in this world peacefully which is hard enough but I haven't time for people who want to get into heated debates because they think their choices are better than mine :)
