I'm sitting on my laptop checking my email and doing a little internet surfing while the kids are watching TV. One of them comes up to me and the following converstation ensues: Kid: Mommy I want that. Me: (Not looking up) Do you know what I want? No commercials. They just make them to sell you things you don't need. Kid: But, Mommy I really need it! Me: You don't need it. Kid: But Mommy, it's powerful! Me: So is Spinach. Kid: Mom! Me: What? Kid: We have to try it, it works! Me: What works? Kid: Oxyclean. Me: (Puts on Yo Gabba Gabba DVD with no commercials - at least he wants to clean!)

Just, I want to say you that dealing kids is always very difficult thing in itself. Kids can do anything to catch your attention towards you.

Hi, kelly3ps! That is so cute. Your child is very smart and bright! It is something how kids look and watch things that you don't even think that they don't see. It is so sweet! My kids say many things that makes me smile and laugh. I enjoy them talking to me. They are very curious little sweethearts.

Perceptive child. My children have often told me that I need to get some product off an infomercial. And, they are pretty sure that I need it. But, you know, when you look at the conversation your child's remarks were just as funny as your own. I remember when my oldest child was barely old enough to talk to in full sentences. I was talking to my cousin and he was in the room. He just blurted out to her "Jonie you got issues". Boy, they say kids speak the truth!! (Too bad everything that they say is not so funny)
