I don't drink it. That is because I don't want to take any medical things without any special reasons. The overdose can be harmful. I still regard it as the medicine. I prefer to gain these elements from the natural food. I love China

some of the vitamins are not for gaining appetite, some of it are for the protection of our body from illnesses. but for me, i never drink vitamins, coz we have the same thought that maybe i could gain weight again even if it's not for gaining weight.

I can't really say I like taking vitamin pills but rather I have to take my vitamins daily for better health. I am like many people who are not able to get their daily requirement of vitamins and minerals from the food they eat that is why I take my vitamins daily. My daily dose includes 3000 to 4000 mg of Vitamin C as sodium ascorbate and not ascorbic acid. I also take a daily tablet of B-complex vitamins, 1200 mg of Calcium with Vitamin D for better absorption of calcium and Iron supplements since I have a tendency to be anemic. And oh, I take in these combination of 4 to 5 capsules/tablets in one gulp rather than take them one at a time.=)

I take vitamins, 4000 mgs (that's 8 capsules) daily of vitamin C in sodium ascorbate form, it's alkaline not acidic. Whenever i tried to lower the dosage to six a day my knees hurt. I also have vitamin B1,B6 & B12 for my nerves to chaste away the indescribable numbness and weakness in my arms and legs related to my multiple sclerosis. There's also calcium with D, and i sometimes have E but not always. There was a time i wanted a multivitamin that would make me eat a lot because i was all bones and skin but no matter how much i tried i only gained a few pounds but i at least gained a few pounds. I find that if I eat right I do not need vitamins. I do take calcium with D, Vitamine E, and potassium three times a week. If I have a week where I simply do not eat enough healthy foods then I will buy a sample pack of multi vitamins and take them. But they do cause me to have the same sideaffect as you, they make me hungry. I take the ones I take to replace what medication is taking out of my system. I have to have the medication so I take the potassium and E. The calcuim with D is a precaution due to the arthritis I have that that that runs in my family.
