I love my moms baked macaroni and cheese. I also have to have it with her baked yams. The candied yams are so sweet. Mixed with the cheddar cheese the combination of the tow is great.

you remnind me of a version of mac and cheese that i was able to come up on my own. the ones in fast foods here is not that tasty and since we would always recieve a gift of pasta every christmas and my child is still a toddler i found that cooked elbow macaroni and plain cream cheese would do it! i don't think we have yams here in the philippines but i have a feeling a yam tastes like sweet potato. if that is the case put it with cheese and i think it would be in the level of french fries and cheese. maybe even better

My mom is the best cook.. she can cook anything and everything from scratch.. i guess it runs in the family.. her specialty is filipino cuisine.. i love her own version of sinigang na baboy(pork), sinigang na hipon(shrimps) menudo, afritada, fish in coconut milk, nilagang baka(beef), adobong manok(chicken), pinakbet, sizzling kangkong, beef steak tagalog, barbeque, miso, fish in tofu sauce and many many more.. i also like her own version of spaghetti, it tastes like Jollibee's but i guess better than that! yum yum!
