i miss my mother's pork with shrimp paste. fatty pork with shrimp paste with garlic and onion. nobody can cook it like she does. restaurants versions fall short. really...

My mom is the best cook.. she can cook anything and everything from scratch.. i guess it runs in the family.. her specialty is filipino cuisine.. i love her own version of sinigang na baboy(pork), sinigang na hipon(shrimps) menudo, afritada, fish in coconut milk, nilagang baka(beef), adobong manok(chicken), pinakbet, sizzling kangkong, beef steak tagalog, barbeque, miso, fish in tofu sauce and many many more.. i also like her own version of spaghetti, it tastes like Jollibee's but i guess better than that! yum yum!
