Is Indeed.com legitimate?

I looked and looked and when I search in google and other places it keeps throwing off my results because the word "indeed" is a very broad word. I see people using it in their blogs but if it doesn't pay I don't really want to waste my time. Is it legit, and safe to use with things like adsense? Anyone who can help that would be great. Also, what does it pay by? It doesn't really specify but i'm assuming by check.
