which email you use either Hotmail or Yahoo mail?

I always use Yahoo but i don't know most of the people like to use Hot mail also, I would like to what are the difference between the two sites.
which one do you prefer?
why do you prefer that one?
what are the features having in Hot mail and yahoo mail?
I think it is good to discuss each other about it.

I don't know what the difference between the two are; however, I have used Hotmail since I've first started using the Internet regularly and kept my service. I like the features that Hotmail has and given the fact that it responds to all my current needs I will be staying with it.

Since I have Hotmail Live Messenger installed on my computer and many of my close friends and family use Hotmail I find it convenient to chat online with them. Besides the folder options in hotmail are also very useful where all the regular incoming mails directly go into the specified folders and the rest remain in the inbox.

But for me i use most of the time yahoo for fun as well as important notification so i felling so happy with one, what are the special featurs have for hotmail?

Now we can find new features in latest yahoo because last one week ago, i have downloaded new one so it really works and access fast. why don't you try it once?

You have started this discussion in "hotmail" interest category so, I was a little surprise when you choose Yahoo as your favorite but never mind.
I use both of them but I use hotmail more than yahoo. One of the reason behind is that my yahoo id is: catchsaurav2001 and hotmail id is sauanu.
So, it is easy for me to login to hotmail as I have to type on letters in user id box. Yahoo contain my oldest Id and that is why I want it to be preserved and not becoming a target for scam or spam. Hence, it is sleeping safe while hotmail is working really hard.

in yahoo most of the time we can get spam mails but in hot mail it is not like that so they have security options most of the time.
when you got register in hot mail?

I don't remember when I got registered with hotmail. May be in the year 2004 or 2005 because from 2001 I was trying to get an id there but couldn't get one(can't recall the reasons). When I joined my first office, my co-workers helped me out to create one for me.!

I don't really like hot mail to because since five years i am familiar to use yahoo and i have downloaded now one so it really works well.

yahoo having less features we can easily use but i am not good at hot mail so in the coming days i may get register on those sites.

I use both yahoo & hotmail but now I love hotmail to acess it with Internet Explorer browser. Hotmail is GOOD looking, no spam so very good security.
In yahoo with new version it is not good looking & always problem of spam like lottery wins mail etc.

You know i got many mails from yahoo that won the lottery so i know that spam and they are the people make us fool so i think we need to have security mail so i looking to join that site.

I use gmail more. Longtime I go I used yahoo mail. Now a days, I do check yahoo mails, but not as frequently as I used to do before.

I have both email address but I mainly use Yahoo as my primary email provider.
I am using Yahoo for 9 years now and I like it compared to Gmail and Hotmail. Yahoo and Hotmail has good protection against spam emails. Yahoo has unlimited inbox storage while Hotmail has 25GB of inbox storage so thats a lot of difference.

Hello Dasari100,
I am using Yahoo. I had Hotmail before but very seldom I checked it out. All the e-mails were not really important to me. I prefer the Yahoo features as it is more neat to my eyes. I don't really know the difference between this two but I don't intend to have another Hotmail.

Many of them said hot mail is really good because we can't find any spam mails from that mail but in yahoo we can find many mails spam, so how do you think about it?

I think we use most of the time Yahoo and for me also, As i know that most of the Asian country people like to use Yahoo than Hot mail isn't it?

I am not using yahoo mail these days but it contains my oldest id. I created that id way back in 2001 and it is still with me. I love yahoo mail
but I am using hotmail because this is the mail provider which is giving me notification for mylot discussions. This is the main mail I am using these days. Also I like gmail and sify mail!

Yes, I have already stated that I am using this site for my mylot email notification. I am with this site for almost 6-7 years now. This was the second site which I joined after joining Yahoo and I am continuing with it.
The look and drag & drop facility is something I like the most with this email provider and the filter things is also very good.

I always using Yahoo.com as compare to Hotmail.com.
Since from 12 Years i using and satisfy from Yahoo.
I daily checking my email in Yahoo and chat thru messenger of Yahoo.
I using little bit of Hotmail, because i not feelling comfortable in hotmail.
In Yahoo there is unlimited storage, but i dont know about hotmail mailbox capacity.
At last i always using Yahoo and i like so much Yahoo.

Hi Dasrai100,
I have an account in yahoo but I rarely visiting the site. For me yahoo is slow and there is some screen problem also with my account. So I prefer to use gmail and I have given the same for mylot also. Earlier gmail was very fast and now it also starts to create problems, may be the users increased in gmail too. I am not using hotmail so I can’t say anything about that site.

The first free email I used was hotmail, but somehow, over years, people change to yahoo, and so do I, maybe the main reason is to sent a large number of photos. I still have my hotmail address, but very rare used now a days.
