What Do You Think Of Boost Mobile?

This month I purchased a new cell phone from Boost Mobile and signed up for their unlimited plan for $50.00 a month. Along with it, I have gotten unlimited hassle. I can not even check my voicemail at this point. I get an awful lot of dropped calls and my phone rings once and then goes straight to voicemail. But what is even more irritating is that a lot of times I will get a recording saying that the code I have entered is wrong, after I have attempted to call a number that is stored in my phonebook. I am wondering whether or not I can use this phone to sign up with another company or should I go for a refund? I am so frustrated right now. I wish that I had read the reviews for this company on the BBB website before doing business with them. What is your opinion of them?

So sorry to hear your having those issues Rozie. I just went back to boost mobile after being with T-Mobile for 3 years and I love it. I have no problems with my phone. I got the i776 and my husband went back to it and I even got my son a boost phone so I can walkie talkie him. The customer service is really good not like T-mobile were they never have a clue. I jsut sold my G1 and cancelled my T-mobile service they are so expensive especially with the G1 phone. Boost no contract, $50 a month unlimited talk & text cant beat that! Have you tried calling them. Another thing is have them check your coverage drop calls is usually when you have no signal/service around. I started getting everyone from co=workers, family and friends to go to boost. Shoot Boost should start paying me..lol And another thing to have them check is the phone it self, the phone might be malfunctioned in some type of way. Well let me know what happens defitnatley have the check your coverage area though. Good Luck.

I am starting to see that maybe Boost Mobile is just a local company. That could explain a lot.

I thought I was the only one...wait, do you get the duplicate/delayed texts and the shock of your life when you saw that they deleted all your ringtones because they weren't the three two words for three dollar tones they sell? Ever since I put that plan on my phone, I had nothing but trouble. So much trouble, that I have to send my i425 all the way to Butterfield, TX to get it fixed. I know that sounds crazy, but I just got that phone so they WILL honor that warranty...Boost sucks..I should have known something was up the first time I called them for anything and the uncut version of 'Magic Stick' by 50 Cent and Lil' Kim was playing...the worst part about it is they have the entire east coast on lock right now..everybody I know is walking around with at least two of their phones and trying their best to run out and buy any phone they put out...

Roz, When I went to get my phone with TMobile, a lady came in the store and she has a Boost Mobile phone, and she LOVES it. She says it's no contract, no hassles, it works for her; Made me think a little on it. but stuck with what I got.

I've never heard of Boost Mobile. If I was having the kind of trouble you're having I'd go back to the phone place, get a full refund if possible. Don't buy into paying a fee for cancelling a contract, for they have not delivered on the performance expected of a cell phone provider. Hey! I'm going to look 'em up just for fun and see if there are reviews.

There is no contract, thank God. I am hoping that in contacting them, they will fix things, if not, I will be forced to take action to recover my losses. They are a local company in Irvine California.
