supportign one team means hating the other

Hey guys,
i hav noticed...some of my frnds who support the football club Man.U HATEEEEEEEe chelsea. or vice versa.
its not the case with me. When ppl ask me abt my fav club, i sau both of them...cuz they both play good and hav good players.
Is it normal human nature to hate one if u support their opponent?

It goes without saying that it is hard for us to have a good impression on those are opposite to us.But in my opinion,if the conflict is not so critical to us,we are not quite necessary to resent those object to us.And what we should do is just to treat ourself and the opponents equally,after all it will not do any good to your side to hate your competitors.
