I want to enroll for web development course but my brother said to my mother that it's a hard course to study. I'm graduate of computer engineering but i'm not really interested in networking or computer hardware. My father want this course for me so i tried to finish this course. Before, i want to take hrm coz i want to own a restaurant but since i'm a graduate of comp engg i want to have a job that is still in line with my course. Althought web development is for IT student still related to my course I guess. And they say that programming is for girl and networking is for guys so i want to pursue career in programming. I just wanna get some idea about how web developing is? Is it hard to study than computer parts or anything about computer peripherals or networking? For you what is the hardest thing as web developer?

Well, first you have to learn the programming tools and languages that you need. Then, once you have learned this, the next hard thing is the visualizing. You have to have good creativity skills to impress you future clients. What i'm trying to say is that, you have to set yourself apart from other graduates of web development courses. Try looking at cool websites and learn from its designs. Cheers!

You still can excel with programming. At first, just keep it sweet and simple. Don't try to impress clients too much that it complicates your work, your programs and your website projects. Notice how websites have simple user interface? This is because, it assumes that not all of it's members will be computer engineers, or computer geniuses. Get what I mean? And creativity can be developed through time and practice. And you can get opinions and critisms from others, use these opinions to your advantage to improve better at your craft. Don't let criticisms discourage you. So, just put your heart and mind to it and you're good to go! Cheers!

Well I am also a computer science engineer and I love programming more than anything. I love to bring out the creativity in me and when I have finished a software I was developing then it gives me great pleasure. I am a Sun Certified Java Programmer. What I will suggest you is if you love programming then definitely go for the web development course. I can assure you its not tough at all. I have designed some web site using JSP and servlet with back end of say oracle or mySQL. There is nothing like programming is for girls and networking or hardware for boys. I love programming that's why I am in it.

I find html easy to understand that why i want to be a programmer now. I admit that when I was in college we study programming but I didnt really took it seriously because that time what I really wanted was to take hrm but my father didnt allow me to shift course. And since I didnt learn well in my college and I know I couldnt get a job from my course but i want a job realted with my course. So i think my only option is to enroll web development. I got interested with html only because i find it easy to understand but i dont know the other programming like php and sql. They say its just easy to learn too. So i think i can. But im not really good when it comes to creativity. Im not even good in fashion. Do you think i'll have a little problem with this?

Hi..I strongly disagree that networking is the guys only. I have a friend who is a net admin in a university and shes doin good.. Web developing involves some skills in arts.. U have to be creative to impress your clients. Lots of competition though..
