Making friends online

I did experience a situation where the friend I made online turned out to be fake. We met in one of the Yahoo Chat Rooms. We talked and become quite acquainted with each other within few hours. He posed as a software professional working for some big IT company in US and earning $30,000 USD/year. I too am software professional from Asia. I was happy talking to a person from the same industry, but eventually I found out that he was a total fake and lied about everything. He turned out to be a person from somewhere in Asia only. Post this incident, I stopped making friends online.

If you ask me, I would say many many many.... but mostly, everytimes I make friend with them... I am thinking they are my friend. Some online people are lying (especially when you do chat online) I dont really believe that much. It wouldn't bother me that much if i found out they are a freak... just forget about it and ignore them if you know the truth. I dont think myloters here are a freak. They are very helpful people and I totally believe in them

i don't insult people, whoever there are,even if they don't respect me, or even if they insult me. and when it's the case i delete them from my contact list.
