Will people get dui's if they are on medical marijuana?

i mean if they are in the state that its legal in and prescribed it and drive will they get into trouble? are they told to not drive or are they allowed since its looked upon as pain medication?
i mean technically if some one reacts badly or takes too much of any pain meds and drive they could get into trouble right? so would weed be different?
or does it all come down to if they are prescribed and knowingly took too much or chose to drive knowing they were impaired?

Yes, you're supposed to know how your medication affects you, and until you know you are not supposed to drive. This is true with any medication.

I don't think that people should be driving whole under the influence of anything. Even if pot is for medicinal use, will it not have the same effect?
