Why does a round pizza come in a square box? *Pleiades

Maybe so that you can get the pizza out better, then you could if it was in a circle. With the square you have the corners cleared to get at the pizza....lol

The same reason that they make 8 packs of hotdogs, but 10 packs of buns. Mysteries of the world.

i think this is because a square box is much easier to make with a machine than a round box would be. it all comes down to money and ease of making it. i am not sure, but this is my opinion anyways.

Have you ever tried to make boxes? You will definitely feel it is easy making square pizza rather than a round one. it is expensive creating round on rather than a square one!

Well that is a tricky question...lol i think when the shape of the object and shape of the container are same, that creates complications... just like if a very wise woman and a very dumb man meets together it seriously makes up for problems... so i think a square container carrying a round object gives it space to move around and not mess up as it has got corners... May be..no logic just stupidity applied,,you explain please..lol

It's so much easier and no doubt cheaper to make square boxes as opposed to round ones. It's also easier to store & stack items in square boxes than round ones too. It's just easier, bascially!!!
