How do YOU drive people to your sites/written work?

I write articles in Bukisa and am a bit frustrated they do not get much ... what is the word...TRAFFIC. Picture a small desert town crossroads in the wiltering heat of an August noon, as turtles make their way across the dust covered road confident in knowing they will cross without the worry of... what is the word? I know ... TRAFFIC! Get the picture? Help me build more traffic, please. The turtles will be alright... they probably shouldn't be out in the dust in August anyway. How do you drive traffic to your sites/work?
