How often do you get your tire rotation?

Many of us get our oil change every 3,000 miles. Some of the service technicians might suggest you that you also need a tire rotation, since you have to switch your tires to prevent further tread wear. So, how often do you get your tire rotation service done?

you are supposed to do it every 5,000 miles but I do it everyother time I change my iol because it is easier to remember. I bought my tires at discount and so I can make an appointment online and they do it for free.
