I love reading books. I love turning the pages and just holding the book. I have a thing about my bookmarkers. But I've been thinking about trying the Kindle. You can download e-books, it's easy to carry around. So what do you guys think??

I am one who love to feel a book in my hand and turn the pages. Always have and will, but with all this talk on the Kindle, I have considered getting one. The only thing with that is that I would hate to get one and they change up down the road which is bound to happen. I was looking at the Kindle 1 when the Kindle 2 came out and figured I would just wait. but I feel it would save on paper.

yeah that's true, saving paper would be good. But I think the paper in books are well spent cause look what they do. Books are great. My dream house is one that has a library in it. My own personal haven.

I understand your need for a library; My late father left an impressive library of books, some I know have to be worth something by now because he have some pretty old books but my mom don't want to let them go. I have one myself as well. But in the age we're in(digital), I have been considering one for a while now and may get it in time.

Yes, I still want a Kindle too. But I still want a library of my own too. I'm imagining rows and rows of books, and tucked in a Kindle. LOL!

I just bought a Kindle today! It hasn't arrived yet, so I can't tell you what I think of it... but I'm very excited! Unlike you, I hate books! I hate having to hold the book open to read! It's so annoying! It feels so awkward in my hand, and I have yet to find a comfortable way to hold a book! Plus, I always lose my bookmarks while I'm reading! They fall out of the book! Then when I'm done reading I can never find where I put my bookmark! So to me, books are just such a hassle! I am so looking forward to switching over completely to electronic books! It just seems so much easier! Plus it will save a lot of trees!

Trickiwoo, When you get the Kindle and all, I have a discussion on the Kindle where I ask folks to give me their impressions on the Kindle; I want to get one myself in time; So I hope that you will be able to get there and let me know your opinion when you can.

I love to turn pages instead of downloading the book online or whatever. I love books and having them line my shelves. They are like my guilty pleasure LOL. I like to cuddle in bed and read a good book. I don't like electronic books can take that away.

yeah, I know what you meant. I like the idea of having just one thing to hold on to that can hold over thousands of book titles at one time. But there is something about holding a book in your hands and turning the pages.

I know, there is something about reading on the computer. It does make you feel tired more quickly. With a book, I could all day, not with the computer, my eyes start to sting after a while.
