If you could go back in time....

I spent most of this evening in the golden era of entertainment...between Rat Pack songs on American Idol and an old (from December) episode of CSI that I just got around to watching...and it got me thinking... If you could go back in time and be part of history, what kind of person would you want to go back to be? I would want to be like Lauren Bacall - one of those girls who wasn't a moll but knew someone who knew someone who could get things done. Bacall was the original first lady of the Rat Pack (sometimes called Den Mother) and those guys had a lot of power by themselves and they had connections to people who had even more, starting with mob bosses and working all the way up to JFK. I've always been able to blend in as "one of the guys," I think it would be fun to be one of the connected guys.
