Is Ethans Luke's son? Robert's son? Or......

Here's my take.
They seldom bring on a person like Ethan without the character being related to someone in town.... Luke is probably the last person left that they can bring an offspring to town.
SO, with the picture of him and Robert in Ethan's pocket... yeah we all thought he'd be Luke's son..... however....as usual, the person they want you to believe is usualy not the person they are targeting... so... no, probably Ethan is not luke's son. Is he Roberts? Well, unless you were watching back in the 80's, you don't knw who robert is or much about him other than he is Robins father, and a long lost friend of Luke's...so why bother bringing a son to town where the father isn't? Where's the fun in that?
So...I bet he is n't going to be Luke's son OR Robert's son.... so who's left?
Well....his Aussi accent can link him to 2 other people that are of age to be able to have a child Ethan's age....... Mac Scorpio and Jasper Jax.... Both from down-under!
Plus, few years ago... when Jax was marrying Brenda the first time and Miranda came a knocking on the "speak now or forever hold your peace" door.,,, turned out she and Jax had a thing going while back. Could Ethan be Jax's son? Yeah, he could!
BUT............... never say never....turns out Mac Scorpio also had a thing going with this Miranda round the same time.... and he is of age to be able to be Ethan's father... so.... yeah, Ethan could be Mac's son!!!!
Why is Ethan carrying pic of Robert and Luke and saying he "heard" about them from Holly? Well, maybe he did and htat was just his "cover" to get into port chuck,.... throw them ALL ( and us!) off the track until he wants to confront Jax or Mac!!! Stranger things have happened!!!!

Ok so I agree that the picture is just to throw us off track. I am watching right now and Ethan is claiming that he is leaving because he does not want to take a DNA test. I still think that he may have something to do with Helena and him and Rebecca are connected. Something is not right with him though I do now that at least. I can not wait to find out what his deal is. I know that he is not leaving the show and we have not even found out his purpose here. That would be dumb. I wish GH was longer than one hour.

I started watching it when it was 1/2 hour...and black and white!!! It was the coolest thing ever when it went to 1 hour!!!!
I haven't seen todays yet, but if he is not doing DNA - you know he has something to hide...like we didn't know that!

Wow 1/2 hour not sure I would be able to manage that. I used to watch Loving when it was 1/2 hr. I did know when it was black and white but I only saw a couple of those as I was very young. Of course he has something to hide like we didn't all know that when he came to town. Yeah he went around town and told everyone goodbye like he was really going somewhere. We all know that he is not going anywhere as that would be foolish of the writers. What would have been the purpose of him coming there just to start up a mystery that we will never find out. That would be done. I know the writers have done some silly things before but I highly doubt they would be that slow.

He played his hand perfectly! And Luke fell for it!!! It's just that It has occured to me that he has never said Holly was his mother! They met at a spa thing... I know Tracy started the thought with Luke, but for us viewers... Ethan never said Holly was his mother! So we all fell for that one, thinking she was... ergo.. Luke's son! I bet he is Mac or Jax..... can you just see Jax knowing his son i the "artful Dodger" ... a Luke Mini-me!!! Poor Jax!!!

Well I think maybe he might get his accent from living in Australia.Holly is his mother.He acts a lot like Luke.But,I guess he could be Jax's.I don't think Mac has been away to get Holly pregnant.We'll see.

I remember Ethan saying that he had met Holly.Then I missed a day and then I assumed that I missed that he had said she was his mother.Your thought could be right.

Well .... after todays episode.....it made me think...... we are all ASSUMING Holly is his mother!!! Why are we doing that? Ethan never said Holly was his mother.. just that they met up at a spa thing in Australia! He has not said who his mother is!!!
Plus...we are assuming, that he has that picture because, as he says... Holly gave it to him and told him to go find whatever it was. He's is a professional pick pocket - he very welll could have taken that picture from Holly and just telling Luke she gave it to him! Could be Holly just rattled on about Luke and and had that picture in her wallet or something, happened to look at it while Ethan was there, when she put it back.. he swipped it and went to Port Chick with the perfect front!
First storyline of intrigue in awhile. I hope they make it a good one!

I think it would be wonderful if Mac got a biological son. He has spent so many years raising his niece and step-daughters. He deserves a child of his own. Plus, it would give him more screen time. That is always a plus. He is so cute!

I guess he does deserve a much better son than Ethan would/could be. Maybe he could get a girlfriend and start the whole process from the beginning. That would be nice to see Mac with a woman who truly appreciates his awesomeness, unlike Felicia who just dumped her kids on him and split.

Yeah, sure would be a nice thing for the Mac character. He's great with the ones left to him cause parents didn't want them... but he'd love is own to!

I've always liked Mac too, and think he sure did get a bum deal with the writers. I mean the DA runs the city more than the Police Commissioner! But I do wish they'd give him a "good" son instead of one out for blood! After all Mac has done good... he deserves something good in return!
