what is the best preference in buyying a domain name?

i want to buy a domain name for my website. how do i choose a provider.

Try Namecheap.com, they provide you with a domain name for a year for a cost of $9.69. They also seem to be offering a special price if you choose a domain name with the .info at the last part. Just a suggestion though.
