Have you ever blanked out during an examination?

Well this thing never happened to me in exams!!! though I often go blank in class tests!!!! However, my elder brother does tell this story when he had exactly the same situation in his mathematics paper in FSc Exams!!! he new maths so well that he didn't give a look at the book before the exam!!! he just wandered arround on streets, though he had 3 vications for preparation!! but he thought he doesn't need to prepare...and when the paper came!! he had forgotten most of the questions!! he left more than half questions half solved!!! he barely passed in that exam!!!

oh yes, i know exactly what you mean that happened to me last year, i still managed to get a B and i couldn't even complete the paper because i started late, i just couldn't think. God really helped me in that exam.

Oh that has happened to me and it's terrible especially since I studied my butt off and then I blank out. It happened to me once but I think it was because I was under a lot of stress from taking so many hard classes. so when it was test time I freaked out and blanked out. I sat there for like 30 minutes and did nothing. I finally decided to close my eyes and think of something postive and after a few minutes it came back to me and I was able to take the test. Unfortunately I had to rush through it so I missed a few questions that I knew the answers too but I marked the wrong answer but didn't have a chance to go back and check it.

It happened to me twice already. I was studying for our Differential Calculus days before our exam. I was 100% confident that I could ace the test. But when the teacher started handing out the exam papers, my mind went blank. I wanted to cry because I can't solve any of the problems in the exam.

Yes, it happened to me once.. but it wasn't a total blank out.. i just forgot some answers and that's it.. maybe, the nervousness had something to do with it.. yay! but most of the time, i always come prepared during exams most especially major exams..

Well, not exactly complete blankouts have happened to me, just sometimes if I'm really nervous I tend to forget the answers, like it goes and hides in the dark side of my brain :O I believe this only happens if one is too nervous about the exam, so whether you know or do not know the answers to certain questions, it's better to try and control your nervousness, relax a bit by taking deep breaths and drink lots of water (but not so much that you have to visit the restroom in the middle of the exam! :P )

Nope, I haven't experienced but my classmate did. And I pity her for that.
