does being physical stop u from moving out..??

well, my roomie was going out with a guy for 4 years..now since course is over so she broke up with him..being physical with him is stopping her for moving on with life.. the guy was ok types and wants her but she wants to move on..more so, she had kind of fighting types and upsetting relationship.. wat advice should i give her now..?? thanks for ur help...
