Well here's the problem. My friend is obsessed with this guy. She had asked him out before, but he said that he didn't want to break their "friendship". So basically she said she was over him (but i know that that's a lie). Anyway, she seems pissed off that he is going out with some other girl and she said before that she wanted to go out with him at least once. Anyone have any advice?

Talk to the guy and tell him that your friend really wants just ONE date (just make sure that's all she wants, if she's the obsessive type that instantly assumes they're a couple then... your friend needs professional help). If that guy is a gentleman, he'd agree to one date - unless he's seriously not interested, or he already has a girlfriend and isn't simply dating.
If you're wondering what you can do to get rid of your friend's obsession. Try engaging her in other activities - working out, going out, beach, planning, myLot?! whatever! Just keep her busy and keep her mind off the guy :) But if she says she's over him and she's not really doing anything to get the guy's attention then maybe you should believe her? She may not like the guy's date but that should be normal for someone who had a really long crush on a guy :)

Mmm have you given match making a chance. Find someone that you think that she would like and maybe you will make a match. I think people get attracted to people and if they think if they have a chance with that person they will persue that person til all hope is lost or they find someone else. My advice to you is to find someone else for her and that will probably snap her out of it.
