This coming May 2, 2009, our batch in high school will have a get together party. We will be celebrating our 10 years of unity and friendship since high school graduation. The venue is already booked. Caterer is already booked. Most of my batch mates are already here. We are all ready. We are all excited. The problem is the weather. According to weather forecast, there is a typhoon coming. In fact it is raining every day. It is summer here in our place. We worried a lot. Can you help us? Do you have any idea how to stop the rain from occurring? My parents said that we will offer a tray of eggs to Carmelite Homes. One of my relatives said that we will put salt around the venue. How about you?

I don't think you can stop the weather doing whatever it is going to do, as we can't control the forces of nature; but, could you arrange to have all the equipment (or whatever) set up for an emergency indoor celebration, should the weather turn nasty? Somewhere close by that everyone can run to when the skies open?

Well it looks scientifically impossible to stop the rain but I've seen people here in Pakistan recite some weird poems and lines to stop natural sand storms and rain which would damage crops and I've seriously seen it work a couple of occasions ! but unfortunately I don't know the lines.
I know few practices to bring the rain though ! as usually we get few rains a year.
One solution that might work is to pray that it won't rain that day.

Well I honestly don't think there is any real way to stop the rain, which is really unfortunate. Maybe pray about it? I'm getting married this summer and I know I'm praying that It is a sunny day! So does this event have to be outside? There isn't somewhere inside at this venue that you can go? No matter what, HAVE FUN!! It's going to be a great weekend for you.
