Well you know I am also addicted to the internet but basically my purpose is research, reading new articles and making money online.. The only thing that makes me stay in the internet for really long hours is because I wanted to find out what are the roads to make it bigtime in making money online. ;-) but other than that, like social networking sites or chat really bores since I'm the type of person who prefers informative things like the former. But don't get me wrong, I actually have a social networking site but only available to my real friends and acquaintances in person ;-) Internet has a handful of information and interactivities but if you really wanted to break this addiction I suggest that you turn off the computer and read a book. That's what I would usually do, in fact, everytime brown out occurs I don't really get hysterical or something because a historical book will do to keep me from boredom ;-) --- Want to know the secrets to a lasting love story? hi,i also find myself online most of the time, when i m in office, but it adversely affects my work sometime, internet is ofcourse a very interesting way to keep yourself busy but addiction to anything is not good,so you should also try to find out some bad things about to be online always.like if you are always busy with this,it can affect your eye sight, you should give a rest to your eyes, you can find out some other interesting things if you are free.like when i am free at home i talk with my sister & other family members or i call my friends.sometimes i am busy with deep thinking about any thing like how can i use my talent or skills in making extra money,or what should i do to search for a better job.if you find all this boring you can plan a trip out somwhere with friends or family.

lol....i don't know how to over come your addiction problem but what i know is how to make more addicted!! LoL well, according to me if you want to get rid of net to some extent then, i wold suggest you to do some work offline. Make a hobby and concentrate on it. If you are a student then don't always think of take the help of online. Try to do a few research through newspaper and through friends face to face. If you are office goer then concentrate more on your office works. Try to do more offline stuffs and make a hobby to completing some task everyday offline.

yeah, i am an addict too, so i think i am not that worthy to give advise since, up to now i am still an internet addict like you. But somehow the best thing we must do is to find other hobbies that we'll enjoy. In someways, i'll forget my addiction everytime my friends would invite me for a trip or something, just try to indulge yourself to other stuffs rather than this.

i'm always online. The best way to overcome this is that you can make a plan about what do you want to do during today and do things step by step when you're awake.if you have a plan, it's impossible for you to do bad thing including online.

no i cant be always online and i know when we are really bored and also when we have more of free time we usually spend time online and sometimes this makes us addicted to internet. it is really difficult to overcome this addiction but if we try diverting our mind and also try to get involved in other activities we can overcome this, sittig front of the screen for a long time can also damage our eyes and hence we need to take care and wish you good luck.
