last time around Delhi won a close encounter, thanks mainly to AB Devilliers ton. Chennai superkings have not look good this season but they have got their revenge against the Royals for last years finals loss. Theyll surely want to beat Delhi this time. I feel the Superkings will win this time. Whos your pick?

delhi r the clear favourites but their batting line up is not deep enough.sehwag,gambhir,dilshan,devillers.the others r not that good these days.love to see how delhi will bat if they lose all 4 within the 7th over.i am surprised by the way superkings r playing but happy that dhoni is losing some matches.i would go with delhi anyways

Well stardust Shewag and Gambhir havent played any match winning innings. Its Just been deVilliers and DIlshan. If chennai are successful in removing them cheaply i think we will get a good game!

my point exactly.gambhir is not looking good.sehwag played some wonderfull innings but it is dilshan and develiers show so far and i am afraid the daredevils wont make to the semis with this squad.with 4 main batsmen and 2 ok batsmen and 5 regular bowler,u cant make it to the semis or to the finals

Why is it that now I can not catch your discussion on time! Anyways, This match is also over and I think CSK did get an escape in their last overs. I mean it was superb glove-work by MSD to get rid of Warner, who was in supreme form in his 1st Appearance in IPL. Then a foolish shot selection by Minhas let his team down. Instead of playing him out, he gave his wicket away. He could have asked Karthik to come and have a go but he did't and Delhi paid the price! I think they have missed Vettori in this side!

i agree with u totally.vettori is the only all rounder in this team and the result would have been different if he had played that game

In last encounter it was Dilshan who took them to victory not AB Devilliers. Its hard to pick specially in this form, but still Delhi is far better side than Chennai, and they managed to win in there previous games even when there opening batsmen failed in all the matches except the first one. So one can think how they will do when Sehwag and Gambhir also gets going. In bowling dept also Delhi outclass Chennai and are the most suitable to win the tournament this time.

I was actually referring to the last time these two teams played each other. It my fault that I did not mention it clearly. And yes Dilshan has also been superb form this season. I cant wait to see sehwag and Gambhir back to thier best.

Well it depends a lot on How Hayden and Raina Play. If they blaz e off i am sure chennai will win. The biggest worry i think for chennai will be their bowling. Lets see who wins. At the end of the day it would be great if we get a high scoring thriller. Enough of low scoring thrillerS!

I dont think Chennai has that many problems with their bowling. Their main problem right now is to find a suitable opener to partner for Hayden. patel is just not capable of opening. Yes even I am hoping for a high scoring thriller. Bad news for Delhi is that Sehwag is out injured
