Im a young pitcher and i am pretty successful in my little league/school team. Lately my elbow has been hurting after i pitch. Can anybody give me any things to check on with my mechanics to see if ive been doing anything wrong?

Hard to say from behind the computer, you need a pitching coach to watch you. I would say make sure you warm up enough, can't stress that enough, do some long tosses too.

You may want to check your glove arm. If you use your glove arm to help you pull through the pitch, your elbow will not take the full grunt of throwing. Let me explain. Pretend when your arms separate at the bottom pretend there is a string attached and make sure your glove hand pulls you through when throwing. See if that will help you.

Do you have a pitching coach? Have you gotten any help since you started this discussion? Most kids who become serious about pitching end up getting a pitching coach if their parents can afford it. Your team coach should be able to help you with some mechanics or maybe recommend a good pitching coach. I know sometimes coaches don't take time with their individual players, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. You might also be able to do an online search with "pitching mechanics" to get some ideas. Good luck!
