Eating out of a toilet?!

I am watching Extreme Pigouts on the Travel Channel, and I just saw a restaurant that is toilet themed! The seats are toilets, the dishes are toilet shaped, the sinks in the bathrooms are toilets! They even have a poop sundae, which is chocolate ice cream and brown candies as toppings. They have other meals that look like feces, too. Apparently this place has done really well in Taiwan and they opened a few different locations. This place is called Modern Toilet, and people have actually mistaken it for a toilet store! Have you ever eaten here? What was your experience like? If you haven't been, is this something you would like to do? Why? I definitely have mixed feelings about this place!

I saw an article about a Chinese restaurant a while back that talked about how all the chairs in place were actual toilets. None working of course but each lid had a different design painted on them. I don't think I could enjoy a meal sitting on the potty. It's like eating naked...I just wouldn't feel comfortable doing it. [b]~~AT PEACE WITHIN~~ **STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS**[/b]

I think that is the same place I am talking about because I know that restaurant frequently had problems with children trying to use the toilet not understanding that it wasn't real. And, they apparently had people come in looking to BUY toilets!

I have been participating in discussions lately, I just haven't been posting them because I have not had the internet at my apartment for the past few weeks, and for some reason trying to start discussions on my work computer hasn't worked. It just freezed my computer! I got the internet back this morning, so now I can post more discussions!

Yes I have heard of this place and seen pictures too...absolutely yuck! according to me...I would have never gone there for my life.

Much like you, I think I would also have mixed feelings about a place like this. It definitely sounds funny and interesting, but I don't generally like to associate toilets and feces with my food, even if it is just a joke and completely clean. It sounds like something that might be fun to try, but I think I would be apprehensive.

That's exactly how I feel! I would love to try it just for the experience, but when you think about it, it's pretty fowl. It's kind of a hilarious concept, but I just don't know if I'm ready for that!
