where can you actualy buy a monkey for a pet?!

I have always wanted to have a monkey for a pet but didnt have the slitist imagination where you could get one. please tell me where you can get one?!

Monkeys are illegal to own as pets in this country. You can see them at the zoo, but I don't think you can legally own one.
On "Friends" they said it was illegal, and I'd be willing to believe that statement.
Why would you want a monkey as a pet, anyway? They fling their own fecal matter.

I am sure there are certain kinds you can purchase and have as pets. I am sure it takes a little research though. From what I have heard they require alot of work but I dont know personally.........

Hi there!
I think selling monkeys are prohibited.. Monkeys are being preserved and wildlife is being protected so capturing them is against animal laws.
But try to look for pet shops that sells exotic animals. Maybe you can find monkeys for sale.
