Hello friends. I took this photo while I was on a trip to a local nursery. This type of photography is called Macros, where the subject stays in focus and everything else is blurred or out of focus. I was taking shots of flowers and plants and I took this one then. It's one of my special interests to take photos in such mode and I would be really happy if you would tell me how this is and give me suggestion on how to improve it!! bourne

What a beauty! Such clarity and detail. Macro is often tricky to master. I love photography. This past year, I was going to buy a Canon, but decided to move to another home instead. So the camera will have to wait. What type of camera did you use? Any details you could provide would be appreciated.

Oh thanks you for the comment. The photo was taken with a Sony DSC H50. It's an intermediate camera between a normal compact digital camera and a DSLR. It''s a 9.1 MP camera with a whooping 15x optical zoom. I hope you get a good camera for yourself and we get to see some of your snaps/photos here. bourne
