win a green card today

I would like to ask... from the title above, WIN A GREEN CARD TODAY. How legit is it? Uhm, when I was in Dubai visiting my aunt.. I heard someone really did win A Green Card. The source said that she just registered and paid the amount indicated and then the next thing is, she got a green card. Possible? Is it possible that Immigration to America is through that? What do you know about it...? I am very curious! Thanks for the replies. happy mylotting

I think that it depends on the legality of the institution giving the prize away. Some people do win Green cards from certain institutions - like hospitals petitioning foreign nurses in order to import foreign services. Some people consider it "winning" when they actually applied for a relocation program - they are taken in as immigrants as a whole family :) I personally know a family who was relocated into Europe.
