Dealing with problems.. Face it or Run away?

I fall into the 'run away' category even though I know that it is only right to face it. When I am faced with a problem that I do not think I can handle, I will avoid it like hell, even if it means that I will suffer great loss from it. I am looking for some encouragement here, on myLot, since my friends are busy doing their projects. Pathetic as it sound, but I'll be glad if anyone will drop me any words of encouragement here. ^^;; So, face it or run away from it, which category do you fall in?

well.. congrats.. you have been selected to be a member of the world's largest organization.. the runaway team.. from time to time, we all run away from one thing or the other.. either work, or responsibility or anything else that requires us to leave our comfort zone.. its nothing to be ashamed of.. you are as sane as Einstein...

It is always ideal to face our problem but sometimes life would be easier if we run away!lol you know what, we should handle every problem and take it as a challenge, its fulfilling if we will be able to face and solve it. This will also apply to our physics and chem problems in school, after an hour or two of trying to solve one problem and you will be able to solve it, its so fulfilling. It will give you strength and excitement to solve the next one, whoooo...

It would really be better to face your problem no matter how hard it could be. For me running away from it won't help for you end up feeling bad since you were not able to make things right and you will be eaten up by guilt especially if it was you who hurt someone. Remember that no matter how big the problem is it can be resolved and from this problems we become better person and we end up stronger. Problems will come to pass so don't hide away from it. Hope this helps.

Well,I like to face the problem and find out a solution, either right or wrong.I don't like to run away as the problem will be chasing my mind, then. So,I face my problem always and only then I can sleep comfortably.Cheers!

I always running away I don't want to face my problem. I'm avoiding to talk about it and forget my problem. It helps because I'm not feeling depressed because the more I think about it the more I get depressed. I know someday that I need to face my health problem but not for now I want to be happy and to live my life to the fullest.

I belong to "retreatism", even though i know that cann't solve problems, only make things get worse,Like the Ostrich bury its head in the sand, but sometimes we cann't persuade ourself to face the problem directly,we have many misgivings but we just don't know it's not important at all at that time. Let's try together to overcome all the obstacles.

retreatism.. Lol!!! weeee~~~ One thing about being the runaway, or "retreatist" is that I am never afraid that the problem will occur again, so I always dodge it with peace in heart. Sounds weird eh? In any case let's try to overcome our problems for a change. =) Good luck and all the best to you xD

I used to avoid and run away from my problems especially if it had to do with people in my life...But I've learned that facing them is much better then running for me anyways...My ex husband walked out over a year ago ran away fom all the problems we have faced, won't talk to me, avoids me, lies to me....It is really hard being on the other side of the fence of the runner because I'm trying to move on and I don't have closure!

I think I face every problem I have. I can't think of a problem that I can just run away from. The biggest problem I had with my life was when I got pregnant last year but everything is fine now. I was so stressed everyday before because I never informed my parents about my pregnancy and I got married without inviting them. I and my husband got married before I gave birth and my parents were mad at me. To cut the long story short they accepted me and husband after they saw our baby! So I guess every individual will not be given by God a problem they can't solve. I think we all have the means to solve each problem that comes our way. We just have to think hard and plan for the best solution possible. I had some points in my life too that I felt like giving up but then the problem will still hunt me and follow me no matter how hard I try. If you can give me a problem you are facing but there is still a way to get out of it and running away from it then I will accept the choice of running away. But as long as you are involve and you have to solve it to end it, then I will keep on giving advice to you to face it. I am a very positive minded person and when I have negative thoughts I just let it flow and try to turn it into a positive idea. I guess we all have means of solving a problem we just have to find it and never give up easily.

Even if it would cost you like a thousand bucks? For me here it depends on what sort of problem. If i can run away from it.. hell yeah!! i would! wooot! cheers to the runners! hahhahaha but if I cant we have to face it dude.. and try to fix it. Problems arises to test your capability.. and there is so much to learn from those problems which that my dear cant be thought in school. Aww.. i forgot there is Problem Solving 101 in math. lol hey just take it as if its a blessing in disguise. Have a great day! And Merry Lotting!

run away or face it is two faces of a coin,so people always select one face ,how to select it ?it's any one's thing,do it ,it's all.you make too time to select ,make you in trouble ,so thinking sometime later and do it.

It is much easier to run away from problems than facing it. I mean by all means I would avoid problems if I could. But then again when you think about it. You have to face it sooner or later. You can't just run away forever. Weigh the option, but in my opinion, facing it would be better since it can be solved easily than running away. Be brave, tough as it is, a person can handle whatever situation he or she is in.
